Round 4 Review of the National Basketball League: "Rychart Championship".

Perth 105 – Melbourne 101.
Redhage poured in 31 and Barlow had an 0-of-6 foul-heavy stinker in 16 minutes as the Wildcats handed the Tigers a much needed nail-biting loss.

Cairns 122 – New Zealand 111.
Aussie Darnell enjoyed a throwback Thursday performance with 26 points (6-of-12, 12-of-14 from the line) to help carve the Breakers' first loss.

Wollongong 85 – Perth 82.
Sav launched 17 triples during this roller coaster ride, while Dusty only needed one look to finally derail it.

Sydney 98 – Gold Coast 92.
The Blaze put up a pair of 17-point quarters in the second half on the way to being outscored by 24 points as the donut gets bigger.

Melbourne 119 – Adelaide 91.
Barlow bounced back with 29 points (11-of-16) and six other angry Tigers hit double figures to smush the 36ers, who shot 36%.

Sydney 101 – Perth 86.
The Spirit kicked the injured Wildcats while they were down and in doing so propelled themselves into the top six, they're now at 3-3.

Champoid of the Week:

Next time I'm at Chickos and Dusty Rychart is there, the Hawaiian Burgers are on me.

Rotman of the Week:

The Dragons and Crocodiles for sitting pretty in the top four and not having to test the waters during a round of upsets.
