Illness, lack of direction, summer, work, a side project and unknown future (much like the NBL) has meant asaspace has been on hiatus since last year, not much is changing with this post, it's a short and sweet picture(s) speaks a 1000 words.
Simple question - How are these not fouls?
These type of non-calls result in ugly games like last night's Hawks / Spirit slug fest. Control of the game was lost early, both teams were getting away with a huge amount of contact. Occasionally a nanny call was made on play that wouldn't have stopped a 90 year Great Grandmother getting to the rack.
Did it effect the result? Probably not, but it sure killed a spectacle from two normally high scoring teams fighting for life.
Note: A full issue of BigPix (Rd 16/17) will beĀ online soon.
